Lega Express Packers & Movers- Chennai - Worst Transporter in India

I work in an Indian MNC. During my job tenure I was transferred from Chidambaram to Vadodara. For transport of my household items I had hired a transporter from Chennai that is "Lega Express Packers & Movers'. They provided service at a less price compared to their competitors but little did I knew about their poor service. They took 20 days to deliver the packed items. Besides that most of the items were damaged completely or partially. When they delivered the items I saw the fully damaged products demanded some compensation. But they just offered Rs. 1000 to sort out the matter. They had taken a whopping Rs. 27000.
But when I opened the items next morning my new products like fridge & washing m/c were partially damaged and in a condition which is not to be kept in a prestigious home. After that I demanded another 4000 compensation. But they rarely lift my call. If they receive the call they will argue that no compensation will be available as I had not taken the insurance. But insurance is done in case where accidents happen there will be a chance of recovery. This was cleared with them in the beginning. But there was no accidents. The damages were occurred due to improper handing of the items. So after a long battle I lost the hope of getting some compensation. So before hiring this transporter please think twice. Your valuable products may not be in a condition to be used again.
This blog is intended to safeguard to the innocent customers. There is no intention to tarnish the image of any company/transporter. I am attaching some photos of my delivered items to take a brief look on their service. If any one customer is motivated by this blog I will think I have recovered the compensation. You can see the damaged box I had to sell as scrap at Rs 75 only. Another box is also damaged waiting to be sold. I regret some of the photos I could not click were damages occured to buckets, cups & plates I had thrown in garbage despite of these were kept in steel boxes with good packings. So you can imagine the degree of poor handling of these items.
